Rentals

PRICING & DEPOSIT: The rental has a high-season nightly rate of $400/night plus lodging tax of 3%, sales tax of 7%, and a refundable standard deposit of $250 with every 4th night 1/2 off! We require half of the total balance (including fees and taxes) in order to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to your arrival. The $250 deposit will be returned usually within 2 weeks after your departure assuming no damages. Please note that we have a two (2) night minimum (three (3) night minimum during holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day).

DESCRIPTION: Note that the rentals are (4) Condo-style units. There are two units on the ground level and two units on the second floor level. (Please let us know if you have a preference whether ground floor or second floor. Otherwise, we book based on availability.) Each unit will sleep up to 8 people. The price is the same for any number of people up to 8 in your group. If your group is larger than 8 people, there may be additional charges. The master bedroom can sleep 2 people with a king size bed. The guest bedroom sleeps 4 with a twin upper bunk and a lower full or queen sized bed (depends on unit) and a roll-away cot. The living room can sleep 2 with a sofa bed. Note that the units are located in a commercial marina with a small yard. First floor guests have an open patio and second floor guests have a large screened in deck. All units overlook the harbor activity with plenty of neighborhood areas for walking and bike-riding and immediate access to East Harbor State Park which offers many areas for fishing, picnics, beaches, etc.

BAR: There is a small dockside/poolside bar called “Boondocks” adjacent to the rental building. It is family friendly and for customers to enjoy the views overlooking the harbor. It will be open weekends only in May, every day Memorial Day through Labor Day and weekends only in September. It is only open when weather permits with hours 10:00am-11:00pm. There is live music every Friday thru Sunday during the daytime/evening hours (no later than 11:00pm). During your stay at the rentals you may hear some of the music but we do not anticipate that it will be a disturbance to the rentals. Please contact us with any questions prior to confirming your reservation.

SWIMMING POOL: There is a large commercial swimming pool adjacent to the rental building. This pool is private for all renters and those boaters and neighbors that have memberships. The heated swimming pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends.

DOCKAGE: There is dockage available for up to a 35′ boat at no extra cost from April 1st through November 1st of each year during the length of your lodging stay. The rental docks are located directly below the hotel rental for your convenience. The marina is located on the main channel of West Harbor with easy access to Lake Erie.

RESERVATION RESTRICTION: There must be at least one person in the group who is over the age of 25 and will be personally responsible for the reservation and any damage. If you are interested in making a reservation, please complete and return the attached Reservation Agreement with the guests age ranges and responsible party.
